PROXMOX VIRTUALIZATION AND CONTAINER MANAGEMENT
While working with a Proxmox server, I gained hands-on experience in virtualization and container management, which are critical skills in today's IT landscape. I successfully set up and managed multiple virtual machines and Linux containers, demonstrating my ability to optimize resource allocation and ensure high availability of services. This experience not only honed my technical skills but also enhanced my understanding of efficient infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. My proficiency with Proxmox showcases my ability to leverage cutting-edge technologies to drive operational efficiency and support scalable, resilient IT environments.
Implementation of UVdesk Ticketing System for Streamlined Support
Successfully set up and customized the UVdesk ticketing system to enhance technical support workflows. Configured the platform to manage support requests efficiently, integrating features such as ticket categorization, automated responses, and reporting tools. This implementation allowed the team to track and resolve customer inquiries more effectively, improving overall response time and service quality. The project highlights my ability to deploy and configure IT solutions tailored to organizational needs, ensuring operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Windows Server Deployment with Active Directory Integration
Deployed and configured a Windows Server environment, integrating Active Directory (AD) to centralize user authentication and management. Set up AD features such as user account creation, group policy configurations, and role-based access controls to enhance security and streamline administrative tasks. The project demonstrates my proficiency in Windows Server setup, Active Directory management, and creating scalable IT infrastructures tailored to organizational requirements.
UNIFI NETWORK DESIGN & D3.JS VISUALIZATION
Designed and implemented a secure, multi-VLAN network architecture using UniFi hardware, detailed in an accompanying analysis document. The project's core deliverable is an interactive topology graph, built with D3.js, that visualizes the complex relationships between network devices, VLANs, and security zones. The underlying network was hardened to enhance security and streamline management tasks.
Key implementations include network segmentation using VLANs to isolate trusted, guest, server, and IoT traffic; a custom zone-based firewall policy to block inter-VLAN traffic by default, with specific rules to allow necessary administrative access while maintaining strict IoT and server isolation; and the deployment of on-premise services including a Wazuh SIEM/XDR platform for threat monitoring and an OpenVPN server for secure remote access.
This project demonstrates proficiency in network administration, security hardening with zone-based firewalls, and data visualization using JavaScript libraries to make complex information accessible and understandable.
